Query about "ranged"
In the versions of cyvasse by Jeff. C. Caird, published by No Name Publishing, in the rules for the two sets of versions (on Cyvasse Alternate Rules.pdf and Cyvasse Rules Illustrated.pdf ), the Crossbowman and Trebuchet are described as "ranged". Does that mean (and in which versions?), that when the ranged piece takes an enemy piece, the ranged piece does not move to the square where the taken piece was? This ability to stay still when moving: is it optional or compulsory?, and in which pieces?
Another case of rangedness is that in Cyvasse Alternate Rules.pdf, there is an optional extra rule Dragonfyre, where the Dragon gets a ranged taking ability as an extra power. Am I right in guessing that the Dragon does not move when using its Dragonfyre ability?

Re: Query about "ranged"
one exception is the crossbowman can't move to capture the dragon but must use his ranged ability instead.
